Rozalin, Child of Zenon | Disgaea | No Reserve
Player Contact:
Characters you have in the game: Jebediah Kerman
Character Name: Rozalin
Character Canon: Disgaea 2
Canon Background: Rozy on the Disgaea Wiki.
Omegafriends Background: Rozalin wasn't summoned to Venture City-she was Banished by her mother, the super-demon Zenon, Overlord of what is called variously Hell, the Netherworld, and many other nasty things. Despite being born and raised in this horrible environment, Rozalin has gotten kind. She did something to anger her mother, some singluar act of kindness that made Zenon throw her out on her ear. Rozalin crashed in Venture city, and gathered herself up, finding that she had been stripped of her demonic features and immortality. In their place, she had a mere human body to
Personality: Rozalin is a complex creature-but she's mostly ARROGANT. She believes in hers superiority to EVERYONE, and the fact that she can't actually do anything like superheroism or villainy is hardly going to topple that. After all, Rozalin is Better Than You. The fact that she can't work is proof that she's Better Than You. Working, after all, is something that the Less Worthy do. If you have ever worked a day in your life? You're not as good as her. And that's a proven fact. She's a demon, and therefore inherently better than all humans, as wolves are better than rabbits. And as a princess, she is head and shoulders above most demons. So her world is entirely structured around rank-her mother above herself, and the entire universe below her.
The arrogance can turn into petty and petulant aggression if you cross her of course. She is a demon, even if it is well hidden by the mask forced on her by Zenon. And as a demon, she can be cruel, arbitrary, vengeful and more than a little....aggressive. Of course, her veneer of culture forces her to express that in other ways than simply walking up to people and beating on them! Expect to have your reputation ruined and endure constant snipes if you ever belittle or insult Rozy. Or to have her buy out your dad's company and then kick him out on the street with her huge wads of cash. She's a bit more subtle about using them than some people, but she's still using money like a blunt instrument.
Rozalin is surprisingly intellectual. She not only is well studied and read, but she also has kept up with some of the changes on Earth since she last visited-though of late she's fallen behind as the pace of technological and social change keeps accelerating. Still, she's rather well read, and surprisingly adept with selected technology-and also magic. Though she is adept with tome and staff, Rozalin is most at home with gunmetal in hand-some even say she shares a birthday with gunpowder, though she herself is canny and evasive on the topic.
Scratch the surface a bit and you might find that Rozalin isn't all smug superiority though. There really is some kindness in there after all-she feels for the less fortunate, and winds up giving vast sums of money to charities with worthy causes. Children and the injured or ill are especially likely to be worthy of her attentions-though she might set up her own bizare charities as well, to say, provide tailoring to the homeless or to give etiquette lessons to illiterate non-english speaking immigrants. Anyone who praises Rozalin might earn themselves some good will in the long term. Or maybe just enough to get her to interpose herself when mommy comes around and looks to kill someone.
Powers: None. Well, no personal powers. She's been stripped of the normal powers of a demon, and left with just some demonic items. First and most important is the Devil's Purse, a bottomless supply of money-it used to be an ancient coin purse full of gold whenever you put your hand in, and now is simply an endless roll of 100 dollar bills, a black and limitless credit card, and, should the occasion arise, all the Krugerrands you could ever spend. Rozalin also packs heat-she's a decent sharpshooter with her guns, and even carries one of demonic manufacture, seemingly cast from solid gold and finished with precious stones. This weapon, Noble Rose, is far more powerful than any human pistol, and has a will and spirit all it's own that must be conquered to master it.
Sample: I am not a Tsundere!
Notes: Since Rozalin and Zenon are now separate entities, she's much less powerful as a fully-restored demon than she would be in canon. But if she does regain her powers, they will be broadly similar. Zenon, on the other hand, isn't going to bail out her baby girl-Rozalin is exiled and on her own, though even she doesn't fully realize what that means.

In their place, she had a mere human body to keep her alive, a final insult to her from an all too cruel parent. She had since established herself in a life of idle luxury, but she longs to return home and to her mother's non-existent love. She's just...not clear on how.
